It is critical for us to get feedback about how your maps are behaving with these changes. #Warcraft 2 map editor all units updateThis is the largest Editor update we've ever made, and we're excited to hear what you think! Below is an overview of some of the exciting new features. #Warcraft 2 map editor all units modWe encourage map makers and mod makers to jump in, explore, and send us your feedback as we’re always interested in adding more exciting changes in the future. We have also expanded the SCII Editor’s capability even further. As such, we’ve absorbed elements from the Warcraft III editor designed for ease of use without sacrificing existing capability of the StarCraft II Editor. #Warcraft 2 map editor all units PatchThis patch aims to address this feedback without losing depth of customization. Since Wings of Liberty, your feedback has been consistent: The Editor should be easier to use. Still not as funny as the Ogre-Mage who planted mines on his own position before attempting to scurry away. We’re excited to announce a major update to the StarCraft II Map Editor! Saw an Ogre-Mage plant mines in response to an attack and the rest of the army get blown up by them (an attack by gryphons, so they couldn't have done anything anyway). I suspect this was due to the simultaneous use of twelve Gryphon Rider attacks though. Got a crash (well, freeze) on Blackrock Spire. G R R Martin has a competitor in unimaginative place names. On one attempt they kept sending attacks, on another they didn't send anything at all (accumulating in their base) until I started attacking, at which point they started sending ships and units at me.įlying Machines can be attacked by submerged units.īlackrock Spire loading screen: eading -> Leading Huh, apparently it really is Northeron. ![]() As the level also has some weird coastal pathfinding, that might be the issue.Ĭrestfall has AI issues. Got a crash on Crestfall caused by, as far as I can tell, unloading a transport. One more thing I noticed is there is a delay in game when a music track finishes and the other starts - is there just extra silence at the start and end of these music tracks?Īgain great campaign am on mission 6. In the initial loading screens once the load is complete, but before pressing any key to advance to the mission a music track starts playing - is this track editable, in the sense that can you choose what plays here before any keys are pressed to start the mission? If you can control what plays you could have the original Warcraft 2 voiced mission briefing play out - again apologises if this is not possible I'm not very familiar with the map editor so it may not even be something that can be done. ![]() Just an idea and this may not even be possible, but it it works it could solve the briefing text being cut off. It seems the loading screens for Map 3 and Map 5 still don't have enough space to fit the entire briefing text. I downloaded the update and the intro loading screen for map 2 is fixed. ![]()
